The first part is the "To" from now until I leave in August 2013 I will be writing about my preparations, things about fundraising progress, skill building, spiritual growth and my feelings on things as I prepare to leave.
The second part is the "Through", this part will be done during the actual time, it will be my way of keeping a running story for all those of you who a supporting me prayerfully and financially.
There is a lot involved in this particular trip for me, as I do not know what part I will be doing during the actual time. I could be playing bass, running the sound board, or both. Because of the odd chance I am making a large effort to be continually pushing myself in both places. Working on music theory and studying live sound application, delving into passages of the Bible and reading from my ever-expanding library of (real) books by theologians, philosophers and pastors. Many more things will be added as time goes on, as I learn different things they will open the way for more learning, so its an exciting time.
